Hello Again

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving,or just a day of giving thanks if your country isn't the United States, something we should all do everyday, and that I am probably the worst about writing them down. Its something I need to work on.
So my family all gets together at my mom's though she doesn't do much of the cooking anymore, which is as it should be. Mostly my oldest daughter and I do the cooking and both of my brothers wives bring a dish. I have to say that for the most part my family gets along pretty well, yep I do have one pain in the ass brother who seems to like to put people down and seemed to have to tell him to knock it off, since no one else will, usually he picks on our older brother but every once in awhile he'll say something about one of my kids. Momma bears have nothing on me and I don't care if it's my oldest(who's 28,yep I was young when I had her)or my youngest who is 13. I will hurt someone for being or doing anything mean to my babies!
You know what sucks is I just don't enjoy the food anymore. I don't know if it's because this year has been so bad and I basically stopped eating normally anyway or what, I know not a real problem and I'm not bitching really and I do like the 60 pounds I've lost.
I'm all excited cause my daughter Globug is cheering at a basketball game this weekend and everyone is in town so we're all going to go and cheer. Usually its just me because the games are normally on weekday nights and her dad works nights and I live kinda far from most of my family. She's a flyer and I love watching her get tossed into the air, and cheer leading gives her confidence which after the year she had she needs.
Every year I say I'm never again going to go shopping on BLACK FRIDAY and yet I always get talked into by my oldest! This year we got smart and 'hired' my friend Doris's son to stand in the line while we shopped. Cheating? Not fair? Get over it your just mad you didn't think of it first. The one thing I got that really wasn't for Christmas was a new router, my old one was a cheap one that didn't cover the whole house, well neither does this one and I spent 150.00! I am so mad, but I waiting to see how it does tomorrow because of the weather here today, though I really don't know if that should influence how it works, it could be just the internet tonight.
I just want to say thank you to all who stopped by my blog and left a message. I appreciate it more than you'll ever know.

Hi Natalie! Thanks for visiting my blog, it's nice to meet you.
I also have one idiot brother, seems there's one in every family.

I've just stumbled across your blog and its lovely.
I was going to comment on an earlier post but blogger was playing up and wouldn't let me! Please tell your daughter from me that it does get easier-I know, I've been there- there will be light, and joy again, the nightmares fade and the memories lose their importance. I wish happiness beyond measure to you and your family x
