My Grandson Justice

Hello friends, so apparently I sounded really bad yesterday some of my  blogger friends thought I was going to quit blogging, nope! And I don't know where my comments section went. Or Tuesday and Mondays blogs. I swear I didn't do anything to them.
So yesterday my daughter Veronica called and if you have grown children, especially daughters you can tell by their tone somethings wrong, well with Veronica it's this way she says Momma. My stomach clinched up and I knew this was not going to be good.
Yesterday my grandson was at school and was having chest pains, they left him in the nurses office for four hours before calling his mom. A little back ground for you. My grandson was born with only three chambers in his heart, with a hole in it and a few other things wrong. We knew this before he was born.
So he's had some major operations in his life and they fixed everything except a small hole, but he's done so well and he is an awesome kid. Now he doesn't have a sac around his heart, they had to use that to fix his heart. Which means, his heart has no defenses against infections so any cold etc he gets antibiotics. He also can't play contact sports etc.
Needless to say Veronica was really upset that they didn't call her sooner she had his dad pick him up and take him to the E.R. The ER Doctor was like I don't know how to read a child's EKG. So they called his heart specialist and their like we can't get him in til May. MAY!!!! Seriously!  So she calls her MOMMA. I drive there and start giving them some hell until they get someone to help my grandson.
(believe it or not I use to be timid, Veronica never has so IDK why she needed me today, but she did)
We got him some help and he goes to the specialist tomorrow. I have to say I did cry on my way home. I just don't think I can handle any more shit, for at least a month or so. Please just keep Justice in your thoughts, OK?

My Grandson Justice, he's small like all my children start out, he's sweet, kind and is wise beyond his years, his best friend is Autistic, like his Uncle and Justice doesn't care cause he see's the good in everyone.  Deep in my heart I just know he'll be OK, I just don't know if we'll have to go through shit before he is.
I should end here but its almost 2 am and I can't sleep.
Trish I want you to know that I'm keeping you and your family in my heart and if you need anything I'm here for you. Speaking of her she has this food blog that I've mentioned here before and you guys this woman can cook! Go check it out, she's not going to brag on it or beg everyone to go see it so I will! Its called This Country Kitchen
Go see it, click on there or on my side bar. OK I guess I better try and sleep. Until we meet again...........

I'm so sorry to hear what you and your family have been going through. I will keep Justin in my thoughts and send some healing vibes his way. I'm glad you shared his pics. He has a very sweet face. Girl, you have been going through the ringer and back! Hope you get some down time soon.

I've tagged you on my blog. Hope you don't mind! Your plate is full, so absolutely no pressure to play, but I wanted you to know I was thinking about you. Take care. x

Poor little Justice, I hope he's going to be okay. It just never stops does it, poor you too!
And thanks for mentioning me, I don't care much who sees the food blog, it's kind of an experiment for me and also a way to have all my recipes somewhere easy to find!
I'm glad you like it though.
Thanks for thinking of us too at this sad time. Big hugs to you dear sweet Natalie.

Really bad of the school to have kept him for so long before contacting his mum.I know what you mean by knowing in your daughter's voice that something is wrong and it's horrible. Hope your grandson gets sorted out, it's always a worrying time.

Natalie, praying for Justice! I can't believe they let him sit in the nurses office for four hours before calling- I'd be so pissed! Yeah, actually I can believe it, I homeschool....

Good for you for going down and kicking butt until something was done, sometimes mom just needs to stir things up! Your daughter is so lucky to have you for a mom!

grace and peace to you today, praying!
