New Year's is almost here.

New Years is almost here,ya! I am convinced that 2012 will be better and happier than this last year(how could it not?). So I don't believe in New Years resolutions I think they set you up to fail, instead this year I'm setting goals. Goals aren't like resolutions, where your striving to do or be something your not. Goals help you stay focused on what you want to do, what you need to accomplish. They keep you guided, keep you on track, so to speak.

One of my goals this year is to get my business up and running(which I'm working on now) and to work however hard it takes to make it successful. Another one is to be financially independent. My third one is to buy a new house or at least be ready to by the end of the year. And my fourth one is to start one more blog( more about that later).

So what are your goals this year? What do you want to work on? Or do you set resolutions? And if so what are they? And what steps will you take to make those goals/resolutions come true?

The other thing I'm doing is picking a word for the year. Mine this year is COURAGE. I pick this word because I need to have the courage to believe in myself, to believe I can do all that I want to do. I wish I could credit the blog I first read about picking a word for the year, but I can't remember, I you know let me know won't you.

I would love to hear what your goals/ resolutions are and what your plans are to make them come true. Email me or leave a comment for me.

Thank you to all of you who stopped by my new blog In My Garden and left me some great comments, hey next time join too! LOL

         Until next we talk.............

Every year for the past few I always say the next one will be better, and it generally isn't so I'm not saying anything this year, but just resolving quietly to myself that I will do the very best I can and enjoy the good/easy times when they come.
I think my word will be "persistence".

I have a good feeling about 2012. I'm looking forward to making a concerted effort to get where I want to be in my life (where I want to live, and getting my finances in order.)

Blessings to you in 2012!
