Hello friends, yesterday I had planned to write when I got home from watching my grandsons, but it was after ten and my house was quiet everyone was asleep and I thought I would just relax for a moment and the next thing I knew the alarm was going off and it was time to get the kids up for school.
Yesterday was a long day, classes in the morning, came home answered emails, did some laundry (which never ends), made some business calls, did some house work, then went to Veronica's to babysit so they could have their Valentines date two days late.
I got there about 3:30, so it was a long day chasing Jaxton around and getting all the things done that need to be done before they go to bed. I tried to get some work done on my computer but Jax's likes to push buttons! He's nineteen months and is very active!
So glad that today is Friday, no classes, but lots of never freaking ending house work to do! It just never ends does it? Plus I have homework, job work and need to go to the grocery store again. In the old days they may not have had all the conveniences that we have but they had home deliveries! Milk man, groceries deliveries, even the drug store delivered! That a lone would save me time! BTW I was always told I looked like the milkman's daughter,I don't really look like my parents, I asked my mother if I was and she said 'I wish he was good looking'. Me too cause my bio dad was/is about worthless. Just shows you that smart, successful women pick losers too at times.
Saturday is my date day/night! we're celebrating Valentines day and our anniversary! So excited, We're getting a hotel room so no worry's about making to much noise so that the kids won't hear! You know that whistle that comes on when I go to the bathroom? Yep no matter what time we have sex that goes on and those brats are at the door! I swear! Middle of the night, early in the morning, middle of the day whenever cause we are never without kids!
I got a sexy outfit for 'bed'(had to my old ones are way to big) and I got that K-Y Jelly for His and Her! WooHoo going to have some fun! Is this way to much TMI? Sorry. We're also going out to eat(someone else cooking,ya!) and either a movie or comedy club. Just cause we're in (gulp) middle/late forty's doesn't mean we can't have some fun! No matter what crap Rick and I have had go on in our lives sex has never been a problem! So sue me I like sex, I have had five kids how did you think they got here?
Maybe I should have put a warning on the beginning of this blog to warn you all, but I don't know what I'm going to write about when I start I just write whatever comes to my mind!
I have to tell you guys you need to go check out my friend Trish's cooking blog, she not a professional or anything but damn her food is good! She's from Australia so sometimes the words are different but really good food. She makes me wish I had a wife! Her blog is called This Country Kitchen go see for yourself. I'm not a tester or anything I just like sharing cool things with you when I find them.
So on that note you remember when I told you I had discovered Etsy stores? Well this one was really awesome and I bought two necklaces from her, she makes them by hand! And when I found it she had a necklace with Oma on it! That's what my grand children call me! It's called Devine Stampings
See? OMA! This one isn't mine but basically about the same, she
makes them how you want them.
This one isn't mine either just a picture but you get the point, the pictures don't do justice to it, their beautiful and delicate!
So go see what she has! Really reasonable prices, she makes them by hand! It's got to be a lot of work!
Just wanted you all to know I appreciate you all and am so glad your in my life! I will probably end up writing again tonight since it's only eight am now. So until we meet again............
