Hello friends! Did you have a good weekend? I hope you all had a chance to relax and have some fun!
I had a really good weekend, I tried to not worry about Gloria to much and basically tried to forget all my worry's. The Cookout went really well, we had a good time and the weather was beautiful but hot! Here's a few pictures:
I took so many pictures you would be here all day looking at them and I didn't want to bore you all to death!
Sunday we stayed around the house and worked on the yard, then we grilled out. Rick made steaks,pork chops, chicken and hot dogs And grilled veggies, I made pasta salad to go along with it.
My goodness Brock, Jon, Matthew, Anthony, Justice, Hayley and Gloria descended on that food and their was barely any left for Rick,myself his mom, grandma and brother! Then we went through four gallons of ice cream!
Monday we all just kind of laid around resting and relaxing. It was nice. Really.
Today Justice went home :( and I took Anthony back to his apartment. It's so funny when I take Anthony places, he calls me Mom, though he's only five years younger then me in physical age, mental is different.
We just kind of adopted him into our family about fifteen years ago. He's had a hard life and is so sweet. His father is dead, his mother too. He was born 'normal' but his mother threw him off a balcony when he was a baby and since, well he's challenged but loved and loves well.
I use to hate his mom for what she did, but hate is so hard on you and I just can't live like that forever. She was on drugs when she did it, and really probably had mental problems herself. I pity her now. And feel blessed to have him in our lives.
Tomorrow is my biopsy, kinda nervous, not about the biopsy, but about the results.
On to more pleasant news, the forum is growing! We now have six new members and it's so wonderful to get to know each of them.
I feel so blessed to have all of you in my life, and so thankful to have had you when I was down and needed help back up. Thank you all.
Well that's about all that's new here, we'll talk more tomorrow. Until we meet again......

I'm so glad you posted photos! As far as I'm concerned, you could have posted more! Really glad that you all had a good time and a relaxing day on Monday, too. You need it!
I agree with you about hate. It doesn't solve anything and it doesn't change anything. All it ends up doing is hurting ourselves and those around us. I'm glad Anthony found you.
